Kolejne sportowe sukcesy zawodników z Kędzierzyna-Koźla. Jakub Korejba został halowym mistrzem Polski U-20 w pchnięciu kulą. Podopieczny Adama Domina złoty medal przywiózł z zawodów w Rzeszowie.
Nasz lekkoatleta po raz kolejny udowodnił swoją dominację w kategorii wiekowej U-20. Trzykrotnie pchnął on kulą na odległość powyżej 18 m, poprawiając tym samym własny rekord życiowy i zapewniając sobie zwycięstwo.
Podczas Halowych Mistrzostw Polski poza mistrzem wystartował także Tobiasz Mazur. Obaj zawodnicy reprezentowali nie tylko nasze miasto, ale również swoją szkołę ZS Żeglugi Śródlądowej oraz klub sportowy LUKS Chemik, którego są wychowankami.
