Pływacy na medal

Chociaż temperatura na basenie wynosiła około 30 stopni, to atmosferę dodatkowo podgrzewały emocje i nutka rywalizacji. Do wody wskoczyli wszyscy, którzy zamarzyli o zdobyciu tytułu Mistrza Miasta Amatorów w pływaniu.
Zawody rozgrywane były na dystansie 50 metrów, a organizatorzy podzielili je na sześć kategorii wiekowych. Najmłodsi z uczestników dopiero co zaczęli chodzić do szkoły, a najstarsi odpoczywają już na emeryturze. Wszystkich bez wyjątku oklaskiwał zastępca prezydenta Artur Maruszczak.
