Pomnik Powstańców Śląskich zyska nowe oblicze

Historia potrzebuje nie tylko pamięci, ale i troski. Miasto rozpoczęło kompleksową modernizację Pomnika Powstańców Śląskich na Placu Pamięci Rodła.
Zakres prac obejmuje m.in.: likwidację starego betonowego ogrodzenia, montaż nowych słupków żeliwnych i łańcuchów, naprawę i malowanie murków, renowację postumentu, nowe opierzenie z blachy cynkowanej.
Inwestycja zakończy się do końca wakacji. Wartość zadania wynosi 73 tysiące złotych. To kolejny krok w stronę godnego uhonorowania bohaterów i dbałości o miejsca, które opowiadają naszą historię
