Przypominamy wszystkim hodowcom, że nadal obowiązują zasady bioasekuracji w zakresie hodowli drobiu, ogłoszone rozporządzeniem ministra rolnictwa i rozwoju wsi z 20 grudnia 2016 r. w sprawie zarządzenia środków związanych z wystąpieniem wysoce zjadliwej grypy ptaków (jak w apelu do hodowców drobiu ministra rolnictwa i rozwoju wsi oraz głównego lekarza weterynarii).
Ponadto mieszkańcy Kędzierzyna-Koźla, którzy hodują drób, są proszeni o zgłoszenie tego faktu poprzez wypełnienie stosownego formularza i dostarczenie go do urzędu miasta. Druk formularza można pobrać ze strony internetowej lub odebrać w urzędzie miasta, ul. Piramowicza 32, pokój 429b.
Wirus ptasiej grypy H5N8, który dotarł na nasz teren, nie jest groźny dla ludzi, ale dla drobiu i gospodarstw już tak. Najczęściej do zakażenia dochodzi przez bezpośredni kontakt z dzikim ptactwem. Jego rozprzestrzenianiu może sprzyjać także zanieczyszczona pasza, woda, nawozy, sprzęt gospodarski i środki transportu.
