Ramię w ramię przeszli pół wieku. „Złote Gody” obchodzą cztery pary z Kędzierzyna-Koźla. Jubilatom serdeczne gratulacje złożyła prezydent Sabina Nowosielska wręczając przy tym pamiątkowe odznaczenie.
Medale "Za Długoletnie Pożycie Małżeńskie" przyznane przez prezydenta RP otrzymali: Barbara i Ryszard Kardasz, Krystyna i Tadeusz Samborscy, Maria i Henryk Wójtowicz, Janina i Józef Zygmunciak.
Podczas uroczystego spotkania w Urzędzie Stanu Cywilnego, pary z co najmniej 50-letnim stażem opowiadały o tym, jak się poznały i zdradzały swoje sekrety na wspólne, długie i szczęśliwe życie. Według jubilatów kluczem do udanego małżeństwa są zaufanie, szacunek i kompromis.
