Festyn na osiedlu Zachód był okazją nie tylko do integracji mieszkańców i wspólnej zabawy, ale również do wymiany opinii i szukania pomysłów do przyszłorocznego budżetu. W spotkaniu udział wzięli przedstawiciele rady miasta i powiatu oraz prezydent Sabina Nowosielska.
Jednym z głównych tematów były inwestycje na terenach zielonych. Swój wykład na temat kozielskich plant wygłosił Piotr Paisdzior, miejski ogrodnik. Organizatorzy zadbali również o akcenty kulturalne. Przed mieszkańcami wystąpił zespół pieśni i tańca "Komes".
