Tworzą „rodzinę”, którą naprawdę połączyły więzy krwi. Krwiodawcy z Kędzierzyna-Koźla regularnie zgłaszają się do punktów pobrań, aby nigdy nie zabrakło tego najcenniejszego leku.
W naszym mieście już po raz 22 odbyło się spotkanie krwiodawców, ich rodzin oraz sympatyków Polskiego Czerwonego Krzyża. Tradycyjnie towarzyszyła mu msza święta w ich intencji w kościele pw. Ducha Św. i NMP Matki Kościoła. Przez kilka godzin prowadzona była również zbiórka krwi w specjalnym autobusie.
