Podobno nie szata zdobi człowieka, ale „modnisiów” nie brakowało w żadnej epoce. Jakie stroje były „na topie” w średniowieczu, w XIX w. czy w dwudziestoleciu międzywojennym można było się przekonać w Muzeum Ziemi Kozielskiej.
Ten niezwykły pokaz przygotowano w ramach obchodów Europejskich Dni Dziedzictwa. Podczas otwartego spotkania nie tylko prezentowano style dawnych dziejów, ale również przedstawiano szerszy kontekst historyczny, m.in. tłumaczono co decydowało o wyborze konkretnej tkaniny czy rodzaju szycia.
