Tempo gry było błyskawiczne. Mistrzostwa Miasta Amatorów w szachach szybkich to pełne skupienie, ale i natychmiastowe decyzje. Przy stolikach emocje potrafiły sięgać zenitu!
Wszyscy gracze, który podjęli wyzwanie Miejskiego Ośrodka Sportu i Rekreacji wykazali się doskonałą strategią i świetnymi posunięciami. Turniej odbył się w gościnnych progach Miejskiego Ośrodka Kultury, a jego zwycięzcą został Tomasz Kurkowski. Drugie miejsce przypadło dla Zdzisława Grucy, a na najniższym stopniu podium stanął Janusz Tobolewski.
