Mistrzowie Europy mają swój pomnik. Przypomina on o historycznym triumfie Grupy Azoty ZAKSY Kędzierzyn-Koźle w Lidze Mistrzów w sezonie 2020/2021. Wyjątkowa rzeźba stanęła dziś (22.12) w Parku Pojednania.
Tym najważniejszym sportowym wydarzeniem 2021 roku żyli praktycznie wszyscy mieszkańcy i kibice siatkówki, a mecz finałowy z pewnością na zawsze pozostanie w ich pamięci. Od dziś te wspaniałe wspomnienia ożywać będą za każdym razem podczas spacerów po "zielonym sercu" Śródmieścia.
Autorem rzeźby jest doskonale znany w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu Michał Misiaszek, twórca figurek osiedlowych koziołków.
