Ulica Karola Gajdzika będzie jak nowa

Kolejna długo wyczekiwana inwestycja na osiedlu Piastów-Powstańców Śląskich. Już niebawem drogowcy rozpoczną remont ul. Karola Gajdzika. Czeka nas kompleksowa i gruntowna przebudowa, podobna do tej, która w zeszłych latach została zrealizowana na sąsiednich ulicach: Wojciecha Korfantego i Adama Benisza.
Zakres inwestycji był niedawno szeroko omawiany podczas spotkania władz miasta z przedstawicielami RSM „Chemik”. Za nami przekazanie placu budowy dla wykonawcy. Wymieniona zostanie zarówno nawierzchnia jezdni, jak i chodniki, gdzie stare płyty zastąpi kostka brukowa. Przebudowa obejmie cały odcinek drogi od ul. Augustyna Kośnego do ul. Królowej Jadwigi.
