Wiosła poszły w ruch

Popłynęli pożegnać wakacje. Ostatni weekend sierpnia wodniacy razem z Miejskim Ośrodkiem Sportu i Rekreacji w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu uczcili spływem kajakowym po „pętli kędzierzyńskiej”. Chętnych do wzięcia udziału w tej wyprawie nie brakowało.

Spływ malowniczą trasą tzw. „pętli kędzierzyńskiej” to okazja, by spojrzeć na miasto z innej niż dotąd perspektywy. Kilkunastokilometrowy odcinek, którego pokonanie zajmuje około 5 godzin, prowadził kajakarzy rzeką Kłodnicą spod stadionu „Kuźniczka”, następnie Odrą przez Koźle i z powrotem Kanałem Gliwickim do punktu zbiórki. Trasa obfituje w piękne widoki przybrzeżnej przyrody, a czas uatrakcyjniają przeprawy lądowe i pokonanie śluzy.
