Zapaśniczki na medal. A nawet na cztery

Nieliczna reprezentacja, ale ogromne sukcesy. W Wielkanocnym Mini Turnieju w zapasach w stylu wolnym w Gogolinie wystartowały zaledwie cztery zawodniczki UKS Olimpijczyk Kędzierzyn-Koźle. Każda z nich wróciła jednak do domu z medalem.
Złote krążki zdobyły Zofia Hałambiec (kategoria do 31 kg) oraz Maria Sowiżdrzał (kategoria do 52 kg). Srebro wywalczyły Zuzanna Estko (kategoria do 35 kg) i Emilia Gralka (kategoria do 52 kg). Szczególne wyróżnienie trafiło do Zofii Hałambiec, która została uznana najlepszą zawodniczką całego turnieju.
Szkolenie dzieci i młodzieży w klubie UKS Olimpijczyk jest współfinansowane ze środków gminy Kędzierzyn-Koźle.
