To był wyjątkowy występ zawodnika z Kędzierzyna-Koźla! Adam Piszczek, wychowanek TS Chemik Kędzierzyn-Koźle, zadebiutował w kategorii Junior i od pierwszego gongu pokazał, że nowe wyzwania traktuje jak szansę na wielki sukces.
Podczas IX Mistrzostw Województwa Opolskiego w Boksie Olimpijskim w Prudniku zaprezentował ogromną dojrzałość i opanowanie w ringu. Finałowa walka była niezwykle zacięta i pełna emocji, ale to właśnie on zwyciężył decyzją sędziów 2:1 sięgając po złoty medal. Na tym jednak nie koniec. Do mistrzowskiego tytułu dołożył także specjalny puchar za najlepszą walkę turnieju.
Na podium stanęli również Jan Mrozik i Stefan Mrozik, którzy wywalczyli brązowe medale, potwierdzając, że sekcja bokserska TS Chemik Kędzierzyn-Koźle wychowuje wyrównanych i bardzo utalentowanych zawodników gotowych do walki na wysokim poziomie.
