Dziennikarze z pierwszych stron gazet w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu. Tomasz Lis i Adam Michnik wzięli udział w otwartym spotkaniu z mieszkańcami. Publicyści byli gośćmi specjalnymi debaty senackiej zorganizowanej w Domu Kultury „Chemik”.

Myśl przewodnia sympozjum brzmiała „Kultura debaty publicznej kluczem do społeczeństwa obywatelskiego”. Gospodarzami dyskusji byli senator Beniamin Godyla oraz wicemarszałkowie izby wyższej parlamentu Gabriela Morawska-Stanecka oraz Michał Kamiński. Głos zabrał również poseł Tomasz Siemoniak.
