Jako jedyny polski jeździec wystąpił na prywatnym pokazie przed królową Anglii Elżbietą II. Taka historia idealnie nadaje się na karty książki. W Muzeum Ziemi Kozielskiej odbyło się spotkanie autorskie z głównym bohaterem biografii "Andrzej Sałacki - życie na medal" oraz z autorkami Anettą Sałacką i Izabelą Migocz.
Andrzej Sałacki to utytułowany jeździec i trener, który swoją pasją i zaangażowaniem zdobył uznanie w kraju i na świecie.
Jeszcze jako zawodnik może pochwalić się wieloma medalami Mistrzostw Polski, wielokrotnie występował na zawodach międzynarodowych, jest pierwszym polskim finalistą Pucharu Świata. Obecnie jako menedżer związany z Ludowym Klubem Jeździeckim „Lewada”, którego jest założycielem. Pełni również funkcję trenera kadry narodowej.
