Tą ciemność rozjaśnia światło europejskiej solidarności. Kędzierzyn-Koźle przyłączył się do globalnej akcji „Godzina dla Ukrainy”.
21 grudnia między 20:00 a 21:00 w wielu miastach „Starego Kontynentu” zgasła świąteczna iluminacja. To symboliczne wsparcie dla naszych wschodnich sąsiadów, którzy borykają się z problemami w dostawach prądu spowodowanymi atakiem Rosji.
W Kędzierzynie-Koźlu ciemności na godzinę ogarnęły przyozdobiony plac Rady Europy.
