Dyskusja skupiła się nie tylko na samej zieleni. Wiele czasu poświęcono także przylegającym do placu parkingom, alejkom i małej architekturze. Mieszkańcy wraz z urzędnikami „urządzali” przyszły skwer na styku ulic Szymanowskiego i Portowej. Na razie zrobili to na papierze.
Tego typu spotkania informacyjne poprzedzają większość inwestycji w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu. Zgłoszone przez mieszkańców sugestie i opinie dokładnie spisano i przekazane zostaną teraz do projektantów, którzy przygotowali prezentowane koncepcje.
Skwer bioróżnorodności w Kłodnicy powstanie na terenie nieużytków w centrum dzielnicy portowej. O takim miejscu marzyli sami mieszkańcy Kłodnicy wybierając ten projekt w Budżecie Obywatelskim.
