Medalowe żniwa na koniec sezonu

Medale zdobyte jeszcze na stadionie będą motywatorem do dalszej pracy na treningach w okresie zimowym. Młodzi sportowcy z MMKS Kędzierzyn-Koźle swój lekkoatletyczny sezon zakończyli z rozmachem. Podczas ostatniej dużej imprezy zdobyli aż 11 krążków.
Nasi reprezentacji błysnęli formą podczas zawodów w Opolu, w których brało udział około 250 lekkoatletów ze szkół podstawowych. Podopieczni trenera Andrzeja Saczki jedenastokrotnie stawali na podium.
Po dwa krążki zdobyli Jakub Jastrząbek i Tessa Catovic (kat. U12): złoty w skoku w dal i srebrny w skoku wzwyż. Ich starsza koleżanka klubowa Marta Tomanek (kat. U16) wygrała bieg na 60 m i była druga w skoku w dal. Na najwyższym stopniu podium w pchnięciu kulą stanęli Oliwier Świstek (U16) i Aleksander Sitek (U14). Srebrne medale zdobyli także: Marta Kałwak w pchnięciu kulą i Stella Catovic w skoku wzwż, natomiast Maja Marek uplasowała się na trzecim miejscu w skoku wzwyż (kat.U12).
