Opracowana dokumentacja pozwoli w przyszłości na przeprowadzanie kolejnych prac restauratorskich na terenie niemieckiego podobozu KL Auschwitz III – Blechhammer w Sławięcicach.
Dzięki pozyskanemu dofinansowaniu miasto zleciło przygotowanie projektu konserwatorskiego dla wież strażniczych i bram obozowych. Koszt dokumentacji wyniósł 16.605 zł z czego 9.298,80 zł pochodziło z „Funduszu Promocji Kultury” Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego.
