Inauguracja Miejskiej Rady Seniorów

Miejska Rada Seniorów zainaugurowała nową kadencję. Najważniejszym punktem pierwszego posiedzenia był wybór prezydium. Przewodniczącym gremium został Edward Urbanowicz. Na jego zastępcę wskazano Annę Ładną, a na sekretarza Kornelię Bajewicz.

W skład Miejskiej Rady Seniorów wchodzą przedstawiciele najstarszych mieszkańców miasta, skupiających ich organizacji i stowarzyszeń oraz podmiotów prowadzących uniwersytety trzeciego wieku. Rada ma charakter konsultacyjny, doradczy i inicjatywny w sprawach ważnych dla seniorów.

Członkowie MRS nakreślili kierunki swojego działania w rozpoczynającej się kadencji. To przede wszystkim organizacja Dni Seniora, wsparcie opieki wytchnieniowej, współpraca z kozielskim szpitalem i integracja międzypokoleniowa.

W obradach uczestniczyła również prezydent Sabina Nowosielska oraz sekretarz Zbigniew Romanowicz.
