Wygrana w ostatnim meczu rozgrywek jest tylko niewielkim pocieszeniem. Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle obecny sezon na parkietach ekstraklasy zakończyła na 10 miejscu.
To był niezwykle trudny rok dla potrójnych mistrzów Europy. Przeplatał się on z kontuzjami, problemami zdrowotnymi i zmianami w sztabie trenerskim oraz kierownictwie klubu. Osłodą pozostaje wywalczony w listopadzie SuperPuchar Polski.
Kibice z Kędzierzyna-Koźla dziękując zawodnikom za serce oddane na parkiecie, wierzą, że za kilka miesięcy "Trójkolorowi" wrócą do gry jeszcze silniejsi.
