Dla katolików miesiąc maj to czas szczególnie poświęcony Matce Bożej. W Kędzierzynie-Koźlu jeszcze dobitniej podkreśla to Festiwal Pieśni Maryjnych.

W kościele pw. św. Mikołaja już po raz piąty z inicjatywy stowarzyszenia przyjaciół chóru Cantabile odbył się przegląd muzyki sakralnej. Wystąpiły cztery zespoły z diecezji opolskiej i gliwickiej.

Projekt był współfinansowany ze środków gminy Kędzierzyn-Koźle.
