Medalowy sprawdzian przed Mistrzostwami Świata

Znakomity występ naszego ratownika na Mistrzostwach Europy. Maksymilian Topolnicki z MUKS WOPR Kędzierzyn-Koźle wywalczył trzy medale w niemieckim mieście Reisa. To właśnie tam rozegrano Europen Youth Lifesaving Championships 2024.
Sportowiec zdobył brązowy medal w konkurencji 4x25 m holowanie manekina, srebrny w symulowanej akcji ratowniczej, natomiast złoty w sztafecie 4x50 m z przeszkodą.
Zawody u naszych zachodnich sąsiadów były punktem kontrolnym przygotowań do zbliżających się Mistrzostw Świata w Australii, na które zakwalifikowało się pięciu sportowców z Kędzierzyna-Koźla.
