29 sierpnia obchodzimy Dzień Straży Gminnej . Funkcjonariusze tej formacji wykonują sumienną, rzetelną i pełną zaangażowania pracę, dbając o bezpieczeństwo i porządek w naszym mieście.
Z okazji ich święta w siedzibie Straży Miejskiej, prezydent Sabina Nowosielska spotkała się z funkcjonariuszami, na czele z komendantem Aleksym Ptaszyńskim, składając życzenia oraz wręczając awanse czterem pracownikom na wyższe stanowiska.
Była to również okazja do dyskusji na temat ich codziennej pracy, obowiązków, realizowanych zgłoszeń oraz wyzwań jakie na nich czekają.
