Solidarni z Głogówkiem. Miasto pomaga przy usuwaniu skutków powodzi

W tym roku nasze miasto obroniło się przed wielką wodą, ale nasi sąsiedzi nie mieli już tyle szczęścia. Władze samorządowe Kędzierzyna-Koźla wiedzą, jakie spustoszenie niesie za sobą powódź, dlatego postanowiły przekazać wsparcie finansowe dla pobliskiego Głogówka.
Na usuwanie skutków żywiołu przeznaczono 60 tysięcy złotych. Jednogłośną uchwałę w tej sprawie na październikowej sesji przyjęli radni. Jej wykonanie powierzono prezydentowi. Dziś Sabina Nowosielska podpisała stosowną umowę z burmistrzem Piotrem Bujakiem.
Warto przypomnieć, że w przeszłości Kędzierzyn-Koźle mógł liczyć na podobne gesty solidarności ze strony innych samorządów (powódź w 1997 i w 2010 roku).
