Pasją ks. Mariana Bednarka są podróże i fotografia. Podczas wypraw w góry zawsze zabiera ze sobą aparat. O swoich wojażach opowiedział podczas spotkania w filii nr 8 Miejskiej Biblioteki Publicznej. Tam również można podziwiać wystawę jego zdjęć.
Ekspozycja pt. „W górach jest (prawie) wszystko, co kocham” – to seria przepięknych ujęć, które zabierają oglądających w miejsca pełne niesamowitych widoków. Od majestatycznych szczytów po tajemnicze doliny, a do tego magiczne wschody i zachody słońca.
