Drakkary, dłubanki i wikińskie wyprawy

Historia wypłynęła na szerokie wody! W Muzeum Ziemi Kozielskiej uczestnicy wykładu „Okręty i szkutnictwo Wikingów (IX–XII w.)” mieli okazję zanurzyć się w fascynujący świat nordyckich żeglarzy, ich kunsztu stolarskiego i odważnych morskich wypraw.
Spotkanie poprowadził dr hab. Marcin Böhm, prof. UO, który z pasją opowiadał o drakkarach, konstrukcjach łodzi i roli Wikingów w średniowiecznej historii Europy.
Nie zabrakło ciekawostek o technikach budowy, materiałach i sposobach nawigacji, a także o tym, jak wyglądało życie załogi na wikińskim okręcie.
Wykład zorganizowano w ramach współpracy Muzeum Ziemi Kozielskiej z Instytutem Historii Uniwersytetu Opolskiego.
