Nowa energia dla komunikacji miejskiej!

Do Kędzierzyna-Koźla trafią kolejne elektryki. Ekologiczna flota MZK powiększy się o następne dwa autobusy. Zgodnie z podpisaną umową w 2027 roku w zajezdni zaparkują zeroemisyjne Solarisy Urbino 12 Electric.
To jednak tylko część większego projektu realizowanego dzięki środkom z Funduszy Europejskich dla województwa opolskiego. W jego ramach, oprócz zakupu autobusów, miasto zyska także nową pętlę z ładowarką pantografową przy ul. Królowej Jadwigi, 10 elektronicznych tablic informacji pasażerskiej na kolejnych przystankach oraz specjalny podest serwisowy do obsługi pojazdów w zajezdni.
Koszt całego przedsięwzięcia wynosi ponad 10,8 mln zł, z czego blisko 7,5 mln zł stanowi unijne dofinansowanie. Cel jest jasny: czystsze powietrze i nowoczesny transport publiczny.
