Powoli mija zagrożenie związane z wirusem ptasiej grypy, której ognisko stwierdzono na początku stycznia w powiecie kędzierzyńsko-kozielskim. Powiatowy lekarz weterynarii złagodził środki ostrożności, których należy wciąż przestrzegać.
Strefa zapowietrzona, która obejmowała teren w promieniu 3 km od miejscowości Przewóz w gminie Cisek została włączona do tzw. strefy zagrożonej, obejmującej tereny położone w promieniu 10 km od niej. Na tym obszarze nadal należy stosować takie środki ostrożności, jak m.in.: czyszczenie i odkażanie sprzętu używanego przy hodowli drobiu oraz zakaz wypuszczania ptactwa z budynków gospodarskich.
