Ważący ponad 100 ton zestaw został sprawnie przetransportowany z Azotów na skwer Kolejarzy przy dworcu PKP. Na miejscu operatorzy dźwigów z równą precyzją przenieśli i ustawili lokomotywę z tendrem na przygotowanych wcześniej szynach.
Wyremontowana w firmie Bud-Kor zabytkowa lokomotywa Ty2 upamiętni kędzierzyńskich kolejarzy. Od dzisiejszego ranka jest już atrakcją Śródmieścia i całego miasta.
