Lokomotywa Ty2-2118 w ubiegłym roku podbiła serca mieszkańców Kędzierzyna-Koźla, stając się jednym z symboli miasta. Kiedy z otaczającego ją placu zniknie prowizoryczne ogrodzenie, jej otoczenie będzie równie efektowne jak sam stutonowy kolos.
Obok ciuchci zostanie wybudowany chodnik, pojawi się mała architektura i zieleń, w tym ławki i kosze na śmieci. Na placu znajdą się też stoliki do gry w szachy i popularnego chińczyka. Sama lokomotywa zostanie wyeksponowana za pomocą nastrojowego oświetlenia.
