Na terenie Kędzierzyna-Koźla pojawił się niechciany gość – zgnilec amerykański pszczół. Ta choroba zakaźna zagraża wszystkim pszczołom w mieście, w związku z czym zostały podjęte konieczne działania ochronne.
Wojewoda opolski wytyczył jako tzw. obszar zapowietrzony całą prawobrzeżną część miasta poza Sławięcicami i terenem Grupy Azoty ZAK SA. Obowiązują tu ograniczenia w przemieszczaniu pszczół, ich produktów i sprzętu związanego z produkcją miodu. Hodowcy powinni też zgłosić miejsca utrzymywania swoich owadów powiatowemu lekarzowi weterynarii. Szczegółowe przepisy w poniższym zarządzeniu wojewody.
