Piotr Duk brązowym medalistą mistrzostw Polski

Zapaśnik UKS „Olimpijczyk” Kędzierzyn-Koźle po raz kolejny udowodnił, że należy do ścisłej krajowej czołówki i drugi rok z rzędu znalazł się na podium mistrzostw Polski seniorów. Jedyny Opolanin w stawce na macie w Radomiu wywalczył brązowy medal w kategorii do 77 kilogramów w stylu klasycznym.

Łącznie do rywalizacji stanęło blisko 100 sportowców z 20 klubów z całej Polski. Podopieczny Bogusława Metela ma już na koncie trzy tytuły mistrza Polski juniorów i jeden seniorów. Zapaśnik od wielu lat jest też stypendystą gminy Kędzierzyn-Koźle i laureatem nagrody prezydenta miasta.
