Popłynęli po medale

Z workiem pełnym medali wrócili z Zimowych Otwartych Mistrzostw Okręgu Opolskiego pływacy z Kędzierzyna-Koźla. Nasza reprezentacja zajęła drugie miejsce w klasyfikacji generalnej. Lepi od MMKS-u byli tylko gospodarze – UKS MOS Opole.
W zawodach wystartowało 200 zawodników z 27 klubów z województw opolskiego, śląskiego, dolnośląskiego i małopolskiego. Barwy MMKS-u Kędzierzyn-Koźle reprezentowało w różnych kategoriach wiekowych aż 30 młodych sportowców.
Podczas mistrzostw do zdobycia było 219 kompletów medali (łącznie 657). Nasi pływacy spisali się znakomicie - ich łupem padło aż 88 medalowych pozycji.
