Nowe mieszkania w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu

W Kędzierzynie-Koźlu powstanie około 220 nowych mieszkań. Ich budową zajmie się spółka powołana w ramach Społecznej Inicjatywy Mieszkaniowej. Tworzą ją Krajowy Zasób Nieruchomości oraz 10 gmin z regionu.
SIM Opolskie Południe sp. z o.o. jest pierwszą tego typu spółką w województwie opolskim. W jej skład oprócz Kędzierzyna-Koźla i Krajowego Zasobu Nieruchomości weszły także gminy Baborów, Branice, Głogówek, Kietrz, Otmuchów, Prudnik, Strzelce Opolskie, Walce oraz Ujazd. W całym regionie ma powstać nawet 1000 mieszkań. Inwestycje będą wspierane przez państwo.
Mieszkania będą przeznaczone głównie dla młodych rodzin, które stać na regularne opłacanie czynszu, jednak ich dochody są za niskie na zaciągnięcie kredytu hipotecznego. Czynsz ma być niższy niż na rynku komercyjnym. W przyszłości będzie istniała również możliwość wykupu lokali na własność.
