Młodzieżowe mistrzostwa w przełajach

Kędzierzyn-Koźle nie zwalnia tempa. Nasze miasto podobnie jak w siatkówce zakochało się w bieganiu. W miniony weekend zawodnicy ponownie ruszyli w trasę. Tereny leśne za halą „Śródmieście” stały się areną zmagań Międzywojewódzkich Mistrzostw U 16 w przełajach.
Na starcie stanęli młodzi sportowcy z Opolszczyzny i Śląska, których dopingował m.in. zastępca prezydenta Wojciech Jagiełło. Organizatorem zawodów był Opolski Związek Lekkiej Atletyki. Uczestnicy, w zależności od kategorii wiekowej, mieli do pokonania dystanse od 1500 do 3000 metrów.
