W Kędzierzynie-Koźlu mieszkają zaledwie od kilkunastu dni, ale już mogą poczuć, że należą do lokalnej społeczności. Miejskie szkoły i przedszkola otworzyły się na obywateli Ukrainy, którzy znaleźli u nas schronienie.
Placówki nie tylko przyjmują z otwartymi rękami nowych podopiecznych, ale również organizują integracyjne zajęcia dla całych rodzin. W ostatnim czasie takie spotkania odbyły się w Publicznym Przedszkolu nr 7 oraz w Publicznej Szkole Podstawowej nr 6. Pozostałe placówki w mieście wychodzą z podobną inicjatywą.
