Zapaśnicy UKS „Olimpijczyk” tradycyjnie nie zawiedli. Nasi reprezentanci z jednej z najważniejszych imprez sezonu wrócili z medalami. Kevin Metel i Grzegorz Hildebrand stanęli na podium Pucharu Polski Juniorów U20 rozgrywanego w Wałbrzychu.
Startujący w niższej kategorii wagowej – do 63 kg - Grzegorz Hildebrand zdobył brązowy krążek, ulegając jedynie późniejszemu triumfatorowi zawodów. W klubie ten rezultat uznają za wielki sukces, dlatego że nasz zawodnik dopiero wrócił na matę po przerwie spowodowanej chorobą.
Doskonałą formą ponownie błysnął Kevin Metel. Zapaśnik wygrał rywalizację w kategorii wagowej do 77 kg przez cały turniej idąc jak burza. Również w finale nie dał swojemu przeciwnikowi żadnych szans deklasując go wynikiem 9:0.
Trenerem obu zawodników jest Bogusław Metel.
