Symbolem i pamiątką obchodów 80-lecia I Liceum Ogólnokształcącego w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu będzie nowy miejski koziołek. Rogata „uczennica”, która przysiadła przed budynkiem szkoły, już na zawsze będzie witać kolejne pokolenia absolwentów.
Uroczyste odsłonięcie figurki było jednym z punktów bogatego programu jubileuszu. Do popularnego „Sienkiewicza” zajrzeli maturzyści z poprzednich roczników, a dawne przyjaźnie odżyły podczas spotkań w szkolnych klasach.
