Duma narodowa, patriotyzm i szacunek dla symboli państwowych. Te wartości towarzyszyły obchodom Dnia Flagi Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej w Kędzierzynie-Koźlu.
2 maja na placu apelowym Komendy Powiatowej Państwowej Straży Pożarnej odbyła się uroczystość podniesienia "biało-czerwonej". Uroczystość zgromadziła przedstawicieli służb mundurowych, władz samorządowych oraz mieszkańców miasta.
