Od dzisiaj w Miejskiej Bibliotece Publicznej obejrzeć można wystawę zatytułowaną „Kobiety w KL Auschwitz”. Ukazuje ona tragedię więźniarek byłego niemieckiego nazistowskiego obozu zagłady w trakcie II Wojny Światowej. Ekspozycja dostępna jest dla zwiedzających do końca września.
Wystawa składa się z plansz przedstawiających archiwalne zdjęcia wraz z historycznym komentarzem. Dołączono do nich również pasiak ze zbiorów Muzeum Ziemi Kozielskiej.
Przygotowana ekspozycja to efekt współpracy Muzeum Ziemi Kozielskiej i Miejskiej Biblioteki Publicznej z Państwowym Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau w Oświęcimiu.
