A konkretnie nasadzenia na rondzie. Zarząd Wojewódzkiego Funduszu Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej w Opolu przyznał miastu prawie 38 tys. zł dotacji na ten cel. Uzyskane maksymalne możliwe dofinansowanie sfinansuje połowę planowanych kosztów.
Przestrzeń w bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie wiaduktu kolejowego zostanie upiększona roślinami takimi jak: róża okrywowa, tawuła japońska, lawenda angustifolia, jałowiec płożący, irga Dammera, forsycja.
Urząd miasta jest w trakcie rozpisywania drugiego przetargu na nasadzenia na rondzie Wojaczka i w pobliżu wiaduktu. Poprzedni trzeba było unieważnić, gdyż kwoty zaproponowane przez wykonawców przekraczały środki zaplanowane przez magistrat.
