Wielkie mistrzostwa małych pływaków

Dla niektórych młodych zawodników były to pierwsze tak poważne zawody. W 26. edycji Małej Ligii w Pływaniu organizowanej przez Miejski Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji wzięło udział około 250 uczestników, którzy od rana rywalizowali o tytuły najlepszych w mieście.
We współzawodnictwie wzięły udział Publiczne Szkoły Podstawowe z Kędzierzyna-Koźla nr: 3, 5, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 19 oraz 20. Uczniowie popłynęli stylem dowolnym, klasycznym, grzbietowym na odcinkach 25 m i 50 m. Celem zawodów była popularyzacja pływania i zdrowego stylu życia wśród najmłodszych.
