Cóż za niesamowity wynik! 29 670 basenów przepłyniętych dla papieża. Punktualnie o symbolicznej 21:37 zakończyła się 12. Sztafeta Pływacka Olimpiad Specjalnych ku czci św. Jana Pawła II.
Wszystkim uczestnikom i organizatorom za cały trud dziękowali prezydent Sabina Nowosielska oraz starosta Paweł Masełko. Każdy mógł wziąć udział w tej szlachetnej inicjatywie i dołożyć swoją cegiełkę do finalnego rezultatu. Pływacki maraton rozpoczął się o godzinie 7:00, zarówno na dużym, jak i na małym basenie.
